Crossover Cable Pinout
Crossover Cable for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX
For speed of up to 100MB, 4wires Pin1, 2, 3 and 6 are in use, . TIA/EIA 568B wiring scheme is most common. Almost all commercial cables manufacturer are using TIA/EIA 568B.
To make a crossover cable just reverse the orange and green pair on one end.

Just have a look at the above picture, pin 1,3,5,7 are white:
Rule No, 1
1,3,5,7 are always white.
Rule no. 2
Pin 1,2,3 and 6 are in use and that is orange and green pair, between green is blue pair, and remaining is brown. I call it: OGB
To make a crossover Cable:
1- One side of cable connector is same as shown above that is TIA/EIA 568B wiring scheme.
2- On the other end just reverse the orange and green pair. Start with green instead of orange.
